The Poet's Sanctum: A Writer's Circle

The ‘Poet’s Sanctum’ is an eight-week writing workshop that focuses on developing your unique poetic voice and style. You will learn tools to establish a regular writing practice, explore the poet’s craft, build your writer's toolbox, and share your work with a peer group.

* Join peers who share a love of poetry

No writing experience required. All levels of writers are encouraged and supported.

Every second Tuesday Kimberley hosts a spoken word open mic at Abbott Square, where circle members are strongly encouraged to share work with a larger audience.       

About Kimberley Bermender: Kimberley has a Bachelor's Degree in Creative Writing from Concordia University, and a Masters of Photgraphy from Academy of Art University. She taught poetry at the New School of Dawson College in Montreal, Canada and currently teaches poetry and photography workshops through Cabrillo College Extension. Kimberley is also the host of 'inter|act spoken word open mic' nights at Abbott Square Market.
