Based in Santa Cruz, CA, maginei is a professional photography studio that creates unique and dynamic custom imagery for companies throughout the Bay area. Commercial photography services include business and executive portraits, architecture, editorial, catalog, artist and model portfolios, event coverage, and more. The maginei studio is located in Santa Cruz.
About Kimberley Bermender, maginei Owner
Photography has been a passion since Kimberley’s father put his Mamiya camera in her hands as a teenager and pushed her into the home darkroom. Since then, she has traveled and photographed throughout the world; her images can be seen on magazine covers, in the International Museum of Women’s ‘Imagining Ourselves’ exhibit, and were represented in the Adobe Stock Photos Library.
Kimberley is currently continuing her photographic education and is enrolled in the Masters of Fine Arts, Photography program at Academy of Art University in San Francisco.
Kimberley is proud to have served on the Board of Directors of the American Society of Media Photographers (ASMP) Northern California chapter for over two years. She is also an active member of several other trade organizations, including Professional Photographers of America (PPA) and National Association of Photoshop Professionals (NAPP).
Prior to founding maginei, a photography and marketing services business, Kimberley spent a successful 15 year career in the software industry. Her years in the corporate world provided the foundation for launching her own successful small business.
